Happy Thanksgiving to All!

Happy Turkey Day!. Mine is in the oven and daughter #2 (she is 17) made the apple pie!. I have just finished out the Branching Out Scarf in Alpaka for a gift. It is black and beautiful! I am also making a beret! My felted slippers are awesome and wicked warm.
I dropped a pair of mittens off at Kaliedascope Yarns for COTS and the other will go out in the mail friday.
Eat alot and knit alot!

Knit Kit has arrived!

It came! My Knit Kit has arrived. I just bought myself a new jacket and my swap partner, Namaste sent me Branching Out and 2 yarn choices to make it with. As you can see, they both match my new coat! What luck.Thank you very much, Namaste. I finished my ballet slippers from Fiber trends, Just need to felt them. I am making a pair of mittens for a charity that I saw on Now Norma Knits, a fellow Vermont blogger. They are a blue varigated yarn.
I have plenty of Christmas knitting to do and nothing seems to be going the way I want it. The knucks I started for my husband out of Alpaka - too small. The sweater for my daugher, too big. I feel like goldilocks!

Now-to just figure out what to make for dinner? I have a picky family...

Knit Kit Swap

I have just finished my Knit Kit swap kit! I am so excited. I am mailing it out this morning because my partner is going away for Thanksgiving and I want her to have something to do on the plane. The KPS tunic is history. It was too big. I decided to make felted ballet slippers out of Noro for me to see how big they are before I make any for daughter #3 for Christmas. Daughter #2's sweater will be a Central Park Hoodie for next Christmas when she will be away at school
:(.
I am so sick of raking leaves. You rake yours and the guy next door doesn;t so - you get all his leaves and his lawn looks great. Falling leaves suck! I also did some sewing (what is that-haven't done any in years) for my pals kit. It is a bag similar to one Jolene makes. It is just a little box bag, big enough to hold needles, yarn, pattern and stitch holders. I made it in her favorite colors. Have a great one!
