Namaste Bag and Ali

Well here she is in all of her glory...my new namaste bag. It is a Laguna-in Peacock. I love it. It is soo big and amazing. I was trying to take a really funky picture but oh, well...at 5 am, this is what you get. Thanks again, Kelly. I will use it on my next trip.

Well I was just getting out of the shower this morning and this is what was waiting for me! Ali, is just 1 year old and a big clown. He is a great addition to all of our kitties.

Organized! Are you kidding?

This is Heaven! Seriously, I am not an organized person, at all. Ask anyone who knows me. Nope, no way, not Ann. But, after weeks of searching for a certain sized needle, and playing on ravelry...I came across this. It is from the Bass Pro Shop. It is called a Worm Binder. It is called Heaven. Yes, I was having an orgasmic time organizing all of my knitting and crochet goodies. Some needles did not make it into the bag. Such as my wooden circulars-yuk. And my Boye needlemasters they have their own case. Well, so do the Denise needles but I use these. And I HATE looking for all of the tips. So there you have it. $16.00 delivered to my door with extra pages to boot. I never realized that had so many needles of the same size. I may have to sell some just to go to Rhinebeck with Norma! The hotel will be most of the expense...mmm stash sale. Yeah, sure, you all have the same idea.
Norma really looks good in those earrings! I will have to whip her up a special pair just for the occasion. LOL. I never need an occasion to make earrings.
Off to eat, not anything nearly as good as Norma, but hey, not everyone has a green ass, I mean green thumb! Hehehehehe

Earrings and Norma!

I had lunch today with the traveling Ms. Norma. We went to a small place in Burlington next to her favorite gardening supply store. It was very good. I, of course, warned her to expect a new pair of earrings. Funny, she always has on the right color to match whatever I make her!
she laughed and said she did not have enough days in the week to wear all of her earrings. Ha Ha Ha
Well, Norma, Here are a few of mine. Actually, alot of them. I got my ears pierced for my 16th birthday. We were not allowed to have them before then. I got them done at the doctors office with a piece of black string. I had to pull them thru every couple of days. Gross. I remember picking out my first earrings. Gold hoops. THey were thick enough like posts so I could get them. My mom cut the strings and went to put the earring in. I passed out on the bathroom floor. Mom got a big kick out of it. She also said if you left the house without earrings it was like leaving without underwear on!
I am making a Knitting Pure and simple pullover for a toddler(friend of mine's grandson). I should have it done in plenty of time for his birthday, August 17th. Picture will follow. Hopefully with my new Namaste Peacock Laguna! I can not wait until it gets here!!!
