Finished-Carrie's Twilight Mittens!

Specs:
Carrie's Twilight Mittens(after the movie)
Size 9 Inox Express circulars
Caron Simply Soft in Plum, 2 strands held together
Pattern: Mine

I got over being mittenly challenged and finished them. They are done, in the box and will be wrapped today. She tried them on and loves them! Yay.
Next on to some legwarmers or "leglets" as I saw in Ravelry-he he he . sounds like Piglets. "I'm Not a rabbit, I'm just a pig!" My youngest said this one year, as she was trick or treating and about the 5th person said what a cute rabbit she was. Damn it she was Piglet. Pink and Red and all. And It was a great costume!.The comment was priceless!
Oh well rain in Vermont and I am off to work to balance THE checkbook-my favorite pastime. LOL, Really. I HATE it.... But, then I look forward to coming home and decorating the tree and knitting. Now that's a good nite!

Bella's Twilight Mittens and Turkey table

Okay, so I 'm a little slow...here is the pic of the table with the turkeys, oh, and Seymour, who thought he was going to be able to sit there all day. I did not have time to get a pic of everything on the table-people were HUNGRY!!!
The mittens...sigh, longest pair of mittens to knit in my life. My daughter saw Twilight the movie, Bella wears these mittens she says, I want some, can you whip them up. Sure, I say. Well, after three starts, because she picked Caron simply soft, A really flimsy yarn, I decided I had to double the yarn. First mitt, okay. Second one. RRRGGGHHH! I can not for the life of me remember how to do a mitten on the right side. I have riippppeedd it out 3 times. Today, I will get it. They need to be done, today, TODAY, I have other knitting to do. And there are only 16 days of knitting left. Sigh! Thank god for my coffee machine and Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Syrup! Knit On!
